Democratic Third-Party Groups Raise $25 Million

The Democratic outside groups fighting Republicans and the super PACs supporting them raised more than $25 million in the second quarter of 2012, the groups announced in a joint statement. Here’s how the numbers break down:

• The Democratic House candidate-supporting House Majority PAC raised $4.3 million

• The group supporting Democratic Senate candidates, Majority PAC, raised $5.4 million

• The Democratic tracking outfit American Bridge 21st Century (and its sister group) raised $4.1 million

• The super PAC supporting President Obama, Priorities USA, raised $11.7 million
