Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) said Wednesday that while the Obama administration should do everything possible to fix its plagued federal health exchange website, HealthCare.gov, someone should ultimately be held responsible for its disastrous rollout.
“It’s inexcusable, somebody oughta get fired,” Nelson told WPLG-Channel 10.
“[Health and Human Services Secretary] Kathleen Sebelius?” asked reporter Michael Putney.
“No. They should wait and get the thing up and running, and then determine and let somebody be accountable,” Nelson responded. “That’s the problem in government today. People are not held to account.”
