Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) on Sunday criticized the way the Obama administration has handled the influx of undocumented minors at the southern border.
"With all due respect to the administration, they are one step behind," he said on CNN's "State of the Union." "They should have seen this coming a long time ago."
Cuellar said that President Obama should have anticipated the increase of migrants from Central America, which would have helped him address the issue more quickly.
"He’s still one step behind. They knew this was happening a year ago," he said. "They’re not reacting fast enough."
