Expanding upon its August test of digital maps in housing ads for certain metropolitan areas, Craigslist has begun offering a new “Map View” showing multiple housing ads on the same map in select locations including the San Francisco Bay area, Ann Arbor, Michigan and Los Angeles, California, The Next Web reported Thursday. Like the earlier maps test, the new view uses data from OpenStreetMap, a free crowdsourced world map compiled by over 800,000 volunteer cartographers from around the globe.

The move comes amid Craigslist’s copyright and trademark infringement lawsuits against 3taps and Padmapper, two companies that took Craigslist housing ad data and, in the case of Padmapper, used it to make housing ad maps of their own.
