White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said on Thursday evening that President Donald Trump is still behind her “100 percent” following an interview during which she openly promoted Ivanka Trump’s fashion line.

Press Secretary Sean Spicer said on Thursday that Conway had been “counseled” about the incident, and when asked about it by Fox News’ Martha MacCallum on Thursday evening, Conway declined to elaborate.

Conway would only say that the President still backs her.

“I am just really happy that I spent an awful lot of time of the president of the United States this afternoon and that he supports me 100 percent,” she said on Fox News.

Conway’s promotion of Ivanka Trump’s brand came after Trump himself bashed Nordstrom in a tweet for dropping his daughter’s line.

By hawking Ivanka Trump’s clothing line in a television interview, Conway may have violated ethics regulations. The chair and ranking member of the House Oversight Committee on Thursday sent a letter to the Office of Government Ethics writing that Conway’s actions “clearly violate the ethical principles for federal employees and are unacceptable.” They asked OGE to review the incident and recommend disciplinary action to the White House.

Conway told Fox News Thursday evening that the White House is reviewing the letter.
