A conservative organization has committed $500,000 to a national television ad targeting secretary of defense nominee Chuck Hagel, Real Clear Politics reported Wednesday.
The ad from the American Future Fund is slated to run on CNN and Fox News Channel until Jan. 31, when Hagel’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee will be held. It takes aim at the former Republican senator’s financial record.
