Rep. Connie Mack, the Republican Senate nominee in Florida, said that Mitt Romney would restore the American Dream in his speech at the Republican National Convention Thursday night.
“Mitt Romney’s plans to restore America’s promise and purpose will be realized and the American dream will once again be available to all her children.”
Mack, who is challenging Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson, also told the story of “Kiko,” whom he says fled Cuba under Fidel Castro’s regime and achieved the American Dream in Florida by opening his own business.
