Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who has been reticent about how she will vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, is now calling for Kavanaugh and his accuser, professor Christine Blasey Ford, to testify about the alleged incident of sexual assault before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Professor Ford and Judge Kavanaugh should both testify under oath before the Judiciary Committee.

Collins does not sit on the committee, but is a crucially important swing vote who, with one other Republican, could sink Kavanaugh’s confirmation assuming that Democrats hold together to all vote against him.
I’m hearing a gong toll, and it tolls for Bart O’Kavanaugh.
I’m willing to be that the nomination doesn’t make it to a vote.
Even if Kavanaugh is confirmed. there’s going to be trouble down the road.
Well, Senator Collins is a weather vane, and right now the wind is in Bart’s face.
