At least one of the big cable news networks will cover Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign event live as the Fox News GOP debate unfolds without him: CNN.
CNN reported that in addition to that network’s live coverage, One America News and C-Span planned to air the event in its entirety. The Blaze planned to offer special coverage of the event, while MSNBC declined to comment to CNN.
The same networks did not immediately return TPM’s request for comment.
Trump vowed to hold his own event instead of attending the debate after Fox News released a scathing statement in response to Trump’s concerns about moderator Megyn Kelly.

I have despised Donald Trump since I first became aware of him in the early '80s, mainly due to his bluster and his plastic wife (I believe her name was Zsa Zsa). Personally, I wouldn’t let that motherfucker use my bathroom. But you have to get a chocolate-dipped schadenfreude chuckle out of him pulling the same kind of crap on FoxNews that FoxNews has been pulling on Democrats for years: lying through his teeth about them, and watching his fans eat up every fucking word. And I especially loved watching Bill O’Reilly licking Trumps balls, begging him to attend the Fox “debate”. I kept waiting for Trump to tell Billo to fetch his newspaper and slippers.
I didn’t think it was possible but I’ve lost even more respect for CNN.
