CNN has plans to produce a political game show which will be hosted by Anderson Cooper and will debut on President’s Day, TVNewser reported Wednesday.

According to the website, testing of the show is occurring this week and if the program is successful, more episodes will be produced.

The show will likely take the form of a quiz style game show that, according to TVNewser, will focus on presidential politics, very fitting given its scheduled premiere date.

The conception of the show was revealed last month as part of the the Sony hacking revelations, the website said. CNN President Jeff Zucker had emailed a Sony TV executive to propose a “political Jeopardy” show.

Does this surprise anyone? What a sad decline from the time when CNN was the absolute “go to” place for important news.

  3. Anderson Cooper is hosting all the presidential debates?

  4. Let the dumbing down of America begin. After all people trying to destroy Medicare, Social Security, and take away a women’s abortion rights is all just fun,and games anyway. It should be a lot of laughs
