There was an unhappy dog at a recent Donald Trump rally and CNN is on it.
The network reported the story Thursday after video went viral of a hat-wearing man raising his dog’s front paw in the air to take the Trump pledge.
The pooch was not having it.
Trump has recently started asking attendees at his events to raise their hand and repeat a pledge to vote for him. Many have pointed out that a sea of raised hands looks a little too similar to another infamous salute.

I’m guessing the dog would rather be lifting a different leg.
Trump: “When Mexico sends its dogs, they’re not sending their best. They’re bringing fleas. They’re bringing mange. They’re pant-leggists. And some, I assume, are good dogs.”
Based on my experience as an animal rights attorney I believe that dog took the pledge under duress and that the pledge is not legally binding in any way.
CNN needs to borrow someone from The Daily Show to show them how to do a humorous segment without beating it to death.
