CNN reported Thursday evening that GOP Sens. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Jeff Flake — all key votes Republicans will need to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court — were meeting with Sen. Joe Manchin after a marathon hearing featuring Christine Blasey Ford and Kavanaugh.

  2. This is either really good or really bad. Other than that I am exhausted after this day. I think the whole country is. I am so tired of the division. Can’t we come together on certain basic things like conducting a thorough investigation on whether or not the man we are considering putting on the nation’s highest court is a sexual predator? Can’t we give these woman the benefit of the doubt? An FBI investigation would do that. After that I would be more than willing to accept the verdict, even if it wasn’t the one I want.
