FILE - In a Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 file photo, rancher Cliven Bundy speaks to media while standing along the road near his ranch, in Bunkerville, Nev. A federal grand jury in Nevada indicted Cliven Bundy and four others Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, on 16 charges related to an armed standoff near his ranch in 2014 over unpaid grazing fees. Bundy is accused of leading "a massive armed assault" of 200 followers to stop federal law agents who were rounding up about 400 of Bundy's cattle on federal lands in April 2014, according to documents filed by U.S. attorneys Wednesday. Cliven Bundy will file a lawsuit against the federal government on Tuesday, asserting that they violated his constitutional rights, The Hill reported late Monday.

Bundy will file the suit on Tuesday against President Obama, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Reid’s son, former Clark County Commission Chairman Rory Reid, and U.S. District Court Judge Gloria Navarro, according to The Hill.

In addition to arguing that the federal government violated his rights, Bundy will ask in the lawsuit for his indictment to be dismissed and to be released from solitary confinement, according to The Hill.

Bundy was indicted for inciting the 2014 standoff over the federal government’s move to round up the rancher’s cattle after he refused to pay grazing fees. The Nevada rancher was arrested in February following the occupation of an Oregon wildlife refuge led by his sons.
