The Los Angeles Clippers supports NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s decision to ban Clippers owner Donald Sterling from the league for life following his racist comments.
“We wholeheartedly support and embrace the decision by the NBA and Commissioner Adam Silver today. Now the healing process begins,” the team said in a statement.
The Clippers will also hold a news conference before their playoff game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.
Good luck tonight Clippers!
I’m not clear what this means. Are they talking about the players, did the players make this statement? I would find it hard to believe that the franchise front office said this.
The front office types don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. Sterling won’t be hanging around the office anymore. The king is dead; long live the king.
Who wouldn’t want the chance to see their asshole boss get canned?
