Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in an interview aired Sunday that she was “confident” that there would be another Democratic presidential debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Clinton addressed Sanders’ call for another debate to NBC News’ Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press.”

“I’m confident that there will be, but I’m not the one negotiating it,” she said. “That’s going on between our campaigns. And I do know my campaign has really been trying to get a time that Senator Sanders’ campaign would agree with.”

Clinton did not elaborate on the negotiations, but did note that she and Sanders disagree on the date of the proposed debate. Clinton agreed to an additional debate with Sanders in New York after the Vermont senator proposed it.

  2. I will watch, too. Like a good citizen.

  3. Good. She will get to ask him about posting his full tax records, and she will also be able to refute the fossil fuel lies. I hope she will have a good answer to his constant insinuations about Wall Street with some objective facts about her voting record.

She will have an opportunity to talk about downstream Democrat support (which he declines to do), especially if he whines about the DNC. She will have the opportunity to ask what measures he can use to get the issues he is running on, through Congress, since they are not accomplished anywhere else.

if Hillary can get a debate date with Mr “my way or the highway”, she can add that to her long resume of accomplishments and he gets another chance to talk over her with finger flying and yell “wall street”, “wall street”, “wall street”.
