Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in an interview aired Sunday that she was “confident” that there would be another Democratic presidential debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Clinton addressed Sanders’ call for another debate to NBC News’ Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press.”

“I’m confident that there will be, but I’m not the one negotiating it,” she said. “That’s going on between our campaigns. And I do know my campaign has really been trying to get a time that Senator Sanders’ campaign would agree with.”

Clinton did not elaborate on the negotiations, but did note that she and Sanders disagree on the date of the proposed debate. Clinton agreed to an additional debate with Sanders in New York after the Vermont senator proposed it.
