Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign raked in a massive $143 million in August, its biggest fundraising month to date.
About $62 million of the total raised was for Hillary for America while $81 million was raised for the DNC and state parties through the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary Action Fund, according to a campaign press release announcing the August numbers.
For comparison, in July the Clinton campaign raised nearly $90 million, and the Trump campaign raised $80 million. At the comparable point in the last presidential election, August 2012, the Obama campaign raised just north of $107 million.
The Trump campaign’s Trump’s fundraising totals for August have not yet been announced. The official reports on July fundraising aren’t due to be filed with the Federal Election Commission until late September.
“Thanks to the 2.3 million people who have contributed to our campaign, we are heading into the final two months of the race with the resources we need to organize and mobilize millions of voters across the country,” said Hillary for America campaign manager Robby Mook in the press release.
In the last week in August the Clinton camp spent three days in the Hamptons and the surrounding area with nine fundraisers that brought in over $21 million, CNN reported. Earlier in the month, Clinton raised more than $19 million during three days in California, CNN said.
Now that Drumpf is officially DOA, pour most of that money into the down ballot Senate and House races, Madame President!
Wait, what?
I thought the msm says everyone hates Hillary. Curious?!
Could it be…gasp they’re lying to create a horse race for ratings???
Notice that the first day of September, her campaign is letting it be known how much money they are raising.
We won’t hear Trump’s number for another 6 weeks.
Because when you are doing really, really bad…you don’t want to draw attention to your failure.
You can Google any number of articles which describe what’s he raised, and it’s nowhere near hers. He’s still working on getting rich on his donations so whatever the figures are they’ll be cooked for his benefit.
With all this money raised you would think Clinton would be ahead by 20-30 points in the polls.
