Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is scheduled to meet next Tuesday with President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, the committee announced Wednesday.

Many Republican senators have said they wouldn’t meet with Garland, but there have been a handful of exceptions, including Grassley, who have said they’re willing to meet Obama’s nominee, D.C. Circuit Court Judge Merrick Garland.
