Christie: Obama ‘Should Have Walked Away’ From Iran Deal

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said on Tuesday that President Barack Obama “should have walked away” from the deal to rein in Iran’s nuclear program.

In a statement posted to Twitter, Christie said the deal was preceded by “two years of humiliating concessions by President Obama” and led to Obama playing “a dangerous game” with national security.

“The deal as structured will lead to a nuclear Iran and, then, a nuclearized Middle East,” the statement read.

The Republican presidential hopeful urged Congress to override Obama’s threatened veto.
