Over the weekend the Clarion-Ledger broke the news that a pro-McDaniel blogger had been arrested for allegedly breaking into the nursing home of Rose Cochran, the wife of Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS), who McDaniel is challenging in the Republican primary. Since then McDaniel’s campaign has given conflicting statements about how much knowledge they had about the blogger, Clayton Kelly, and his arrest.
