After two journalists were shot and killed in Virginia on Wednesday morning during live local newscast for television station WDBJ, the boyfriend of one of the victims opened up about his relationship and mourned the loss of his girlfriend.
Chris Hurst, who is also an anchor at WDBJ, published a tweet on Wednesday morning saying that he had just moved in with Alison Parker, the 24-year-old reporter killed in the shooting. He then published a series of tweets about the woman he wanted to marry.
We didn’t share this publicly, but @AParkerWDBJ7 and I were very much in love. We just moved in together. I am numb. pic.twitter.com/tUrHVwAXcN

She was the most radiant woman I ever met. And for some reason she loved me back. She loved her family, her parents and her brother.

I am comforted by everyone at @WDBJ7. We are a family. She worked with Adam every day. They were a team. I am heartbroken for his fiancee.

watch some strict christian claim this is god’s punishment for living together
So far of the 1.1 billion Christians ( its capitalized ) none have. I’ve always wondered how folks can out of hate comfortably criticize another’s hate.
I hope Wayne Lapierre is taking all this in.
