Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) on Thursday tweeted his “prayers for the families & friends” of the victims of a mass shooting at a historic black church in Charleston, S.C that left nine dead.

Walker’s post came after Wednesday’s fatal attack on the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church by a white gunman, identified by authorities as Dylann Roof.

Walker’s tweet is below:

Walker has yet to announce his candidacy for the 2016 Republican presidential election.
