Incoming House Oversight Committee chair Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) was not entirely impressed by the latest House report on the Benghazi attack, which did not find any wrongdoing on the part of the Obama administration in the aftermath of the attack.
On Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the Intelligence Committee report was “full of crap.”
And Chaffetz is right there with him.
“Knowing as much as I do about Benghazi, I think Lindsey Graham is probably right,” he told the Salt Lake Tribune in an interview published Wednesday.
But Chaffetz said that he will leave further investigation into the Benghazi scandal to the select committee.
“I know Trey Gowdy and the select committee will get to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth,” Chaffetz said. “I think it’s fair to wait and see what that committee comes up with.”
