President Barack Obama agrees with former President Bill Clinton that people should be able to keep their existing health insurance plans, White House Spokesman Jay Carney said Tuesday.

“The president has tasked his team with looking at a range of options,” Carney told reporters at a press briefing, explaining that Obama is looking for ways to address cancellations in the individual market.

Clinton said in an interview on Tuesday that people should be able to keep their existing plans, and that the president should “honor the committment” he made when he assured people before and after Obamacare’s passage.

Obama apologized last week for telling people that they could keep their plans after reports of thousands losing their existing plans when Obamacare went into effect.
