Carney Evades Question On Obama’s Confidence In IRS Commissioner

White House press secretary Jay Carney on Wednesday took a pass when asked if President Barack Obama still has confidence in acting Internal Revenue Service commissioner Steven Miller in the wake of revelations that the agency improperly targeted conservative organizations.

Asked at an afternoon press briefing, Carney said only that he’s “not going to get into personnel matters.”
