Carl Paladino on Tuesday flashed an imflammatory gesture toward a member of the media with whom he’s long had beef.

During a stroll through the New York state capitol in Albany, Paladino, the brash developer who was the Republican nominee for governor in 2010, stumbled upon the office of longtime New York Post columnist Fred Dicker. Paladino and Dicker had a confrontation that turned phyiscal in the midst of the 2010 campaign.

What transpired after the two crossed paths on Tuesday was described by the Albany Times Union:

A few moments later, Paladino walked to the glass-walled office of Fred Dicker, the state editor of the New York Postwho was in the middle of his daily, live, radio show.

“Hey Fred!” Paladino shouted. The two men had a physical tiff during the 2010 campaign, where Dicker forcefully questioned Paladino about his unsubstantiated suggestion that Cuomo had been a womanizer, and Paladino yelled at Dicker for the actions of a Post reporter who staked out his Buffalo home.

Dicker looked up. Paladino raised his middle finger, smiled, and walked away.
