Former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) on Wednesday said that President Obama never called him after he lost his Virginia primary.

“Not a word,” Cantor said when asked on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” if Obama tried to contact him.

“I did from the vice president several times and several of the members on both sides. Obviously you have a lot of friendships there,” Cantor continued.

  2. You mean the guy you openly lied to and about didn’t call you to ease your pain when you lost? I thought that signing bonus from your new job would have soothed your hurt feelings.

  3. When Obama called Cantor to wish him a happy Passover in spring 2014 Cantor sent out a press release saying that he was insulted by the President calling after earlier in the day stating that the House GOP was blocking immigration reform.

So after rebuffing a call from the President and embarrassing him publicly, Cantor is surprised Obama didn’t call him after Cantor lost his primary a couple months later?

    Give me a break.

  4. Didn’t call him what?
