Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA) is seeking reelection. And after a brief slip last week, he’s doing so in the right district.

Royce’s statement of candidacy for his re-election filed last week listed California’s 40th Congressional District instead of the 39th, according to The Sacramento Bee. Royce represented the 40th district in the 2000s. He has represented the 39th since 2012.

The redrawn 40th district is represented by Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA). Royce’s campaign corrected the filing on Friday.

“He’s running in the 39th,” Royce consultant Dave Gilliard told the Bee, blaming the problem on a typo.
