The adult son of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore was arrested on Sunday and charged with drug possession, AL.com reported Monday.

Police officers were responding to a reported home invasion in Troy, Alabama, when they encountered 24-year-old Caleb Moore and four other men by a pickup truck that smelled like marijuana, according to AL.com.

The five men denied they had drugs in the vehicle, but when officers searched the truck, they found a bag of marijuana and several Xanax pills, as well as Moore’s passport, AL.com reported.

Moore was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, the website reported.
