Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) said defended the immigration program in his new book, which has been attacked for not providing a path to citizenship, saying that he and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) are “in sync” on immigration.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), one of the senators working on a reform package, said Bush’s new stance “undercuts what we’re trying to do.”
But Bush said he has spoken to Graham since then and that this is not the case.
“I’ve talked to Sen. Graham, and he said that we’re in sync on this,” Bush said. “I admire his work.”
