Former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush says he doesn’t believe Trump has had a sincere policy evolution on immigration. Instead, Bush told WABC radio, he believes Trump is just playing a game with the American electorate.
“I don’t know what to believe about a guy who doesn’t believe in things. This is all a game. His views will change based on the feedback he gets from a crowd or what he thinks he has to do,” Bush told WABC in an interview that was flagged by BuzzFeed.
Bush called Trump’s recent immigration flip-flop “abhorrent” and accused Trump of being a typical politician.
“It is everchanging. I’m happy he is making efforts to reach out to constituencies Republicans have ignored. I think that is a very healthy thing for our party. It is a smart thing for him to do if it is sincere,” Bush said. “But his views on immigration? I can’t comment on because we’re talking in the morning … and tomorrow it might be different.”
Like Mitt Romney… flip flops all the time.
Well not to be mean spirited. But what, exactly do the members of the Bush family and wannabe political dynasty believe in? Other than their Eastern Aristocrat recycled through pork rind from a bag plastic baseball cap redneck pandering to Texas voters concept that they are entitled by birth to rule? Why is Jeb’s son being groomed for national political aspirations? I mean if you are gonna criticize Trump for not really believing in anything.
I disagree. He is not a typical politician. He is an exceptional republican.
True but I was talking about Trump.
It’s so disheartening sitting on the porch with a mint julep and watching the plantation burn.
