Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-Ohio, meets with reporters, taking questions on immigration, student loans, and GOP-led efforts to stop President Barack Obama's signature health care law, on Capitol Hill in Washington, Thursday, July 18, 2013. The House of Representatives passed measures last night to delay the individual and employer mandates of the Affordable Care Act, known popularly as "Obamacare." House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) wants to see sanctions imposed against Russia in response to Russian troops moving into Crimean Ukraine.

Boehner made the comments in an interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer published Monday.

A Boehner spokesman tweeted out his comments in the interview.

“At what point do you say enough is enough,” Boehner added. “We are at that point.”

Boehner’s comments are some of the latest of a top American lawmaker calling on imposing sanctions on Russia in response to its recent movements.

Over the weekend Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN), the ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Congress would consider “imposing targeted sanctions against Russian persons and entities that undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
