Boehner Mum On Gingrich Surge

The current Speaker of the House is keeping quiet on former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Politico reports that Speaker John Boehner today was asked multiple questions about Gingrich, but Boehner kept his focus on jobs.

“Listen, Newt’s been a longtime friend, but I’ve spent a lot of time this year avoiding getting involved in picking winners or losers in a presidential contest,” Boehner said. “And as I say, our focus here is on the American people’s priority and that’s jobs.”
