House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) tried to sign up for Obamacare on Thursday afternoon, but due to a few technical glitches he was unable to do so.

Boehner attempted to enroll in a health plan under the D.C. exchange, but got an “internal server error” multiple times.

“Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to get past that point and sign up for a health plan,” he wrote. “We’ve got a call into the help desk.  Guess I’ll just have to keep trying…”

Update: Boehner successfully enrolled in a health exchange after a phone call with DC Health Link.

“Kept at it, and called the DC Health Link help line,” he said in an update. “They called back a few hours later, and after re-starting the process on the website two more times, I just heard from DC Health Link that I have been successfully enrolled.”
