Former Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-NE) has a new TV ad in his returning bid for the Nebraska Senate race. In the new spot, Kerrey pitches himself to voters in this deep-red state as a consensus-builder, who will work to bring together the better ideas of each of the two parties.
“The Democrats are right to cut taxes for working people, and raise them for high earners, while making health care more affordable,” Kerrey says. “The Republicans are right about the need to cut regulatory costs, and simplify the tax code, to promote economic growth.
