A discussion on racial issues in the 2014 midterms got the hosts of Fox News’ “The Five” so riled up Thursday afternoon that token liberal Bob Beckel threw his co-host the middle finger.
The hosts were discussing comments Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) and Rep. Jim Clyburn’s (D-SC) made suggesting that Republicans in Congress aren’t honestly confronting the issue of race. Jesse Watters argued that Democrats were intentionally using inflammatory racial rhetoric to secure the minority vote.
“I have a feeling I know why [they’re doing it]. Because anything that threatens the Democrat monopoly on the black vote threatens the entire power structure of the Democratic Party,” Watters said. “It threatens any ability to get the White House, it threatens any ability to control urban areas. It threatens money, it threatens power. I tell you what, they throw the buzz words out and they try to scare blacks into not trying to cross the line … “
But Beckel argued that Rangel and Clyburn didn’t represent the entire Democratic Party.
“Were there any white Democrats denouncing their rhetoric? I didn’t hear any,” Watters countered. “So they’re okay with it.”
“I’m denouncing it,” Beckel said.
“Yeah, but you’re not a leader,” Watters shot back.
That’s when Beckel flipped Watters the bird.

Yes. The moochers. They shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
Typical conservative racists say racist things. Story at 11.
How did what Clyburn and Rangel say “backfire”?
Fox sure had to work to find a Democrat(?) who was as much of a buffoonish asshole as their typical Republican ¨pundit¨.
I agree, he’s not a leader.
