Bloomberg Businessweek on Thursday revealed the tabloid-style cover for this week’s magazine, centered around French economist Thomas Piketty’s bestselling book on wealth inequality, “Capital in the 21st Century.”

Columnist Megan McArdle’s cover story described the reaction to Piketty’s treatise as “an ideological fervor reminiscent of a Paris mob at the gates of the Bastille.” The book has sparked a lively economic debate, including accusations from the Financial Times that Piketty fudged his numbers that prompted Paul Krugman to weigh in.

The guy hit the nail on the head. And it hurts. I have not had a chance to read it, but if the book demonstrates statistically what Obama has been saying for years, it has my vote.

  3. Isn’t Bloomberg a wall street apologist??? Any thing to distract from the truth…
