Bill Simmons, the ousted editor and founder of Grantland, will join HBO as a part of a multiplatform deal including a weekly talk show, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

The weekly talk show will focus on topics and feature guests from both “the sports and cultural landscapes,” according to the Wall Street Journal. This intersection is something Simmons made popular at Grantland.

The newspaper reported Simmons will be working with HBO Sports and doing video podcasts as well.

ESPN announced in May that the network its contract with Simmons, who also created the “30 for 30” documentary series for the network.
