Fox News host Bill O’Reilly took aim on Monday night at the St. Louis Rams football players who took the field with their hands up this weekend in protest of the grand jury decision in Ferguson, Mo.

During his show, O’Reilly said the recent shootings of black teens by white cops were “not an epidemic” and “not a hunting down of black youths.”

He criticized the five players who took part in the protest during Sunday night’s game.

“Quite frankly, I don’t think they’re smart enough to know what they’re doing,” O’Reilly said. “I don’t. I absolutely don’t think they’re smart enough to know what they’re doing.”
