Fox News shining star Bill O’Reilly responded Tuesday to First Lady Michelle Obama’s commanding Democratic National Convention speech by putting forth that the slaves who built the White House were actually “well fed and had decent lodgings.”
“Slaves that worked there were well fed and had decent lodgings provided by the government, which stopped hiring slave labor in 1802. However, the feds did not forbid subcontractors from using slave labor,” O’Reilly said. “So, Michelle Obama is essentially correct in citing slaves as builders of the White House, but there were others working as well.”
Obama said Monday that it was a signal of changing times in America that she wakes up “in a house that was built by slaves.”
Politifact, the non-partisan fact-checking website, determined that Obama’s words, were in fact, true.

Oh. So they were well treated slaves? That makes it ok then.
How much did they get paid, jackass?
I know. Ridiculous, huh? When did we all slip through the looking glass?
Lamest whitesplaining this week.
