Bill Moyers announced Wednesday that his show ‘Moyers and Company’ will air its last show in January 2014.

Moyers, a PBS journalist, came back from retirement a couple of years ago to start the weekly show, which was produced for local PBS affiliates.

Moyers said that his team is considering maintaining an online presence even though the show will not longer air on television.

“Although our final broadcast will air on January 3, we are exploring the possibility of continuing to serve our audience through BillMoyers.com with the goal of engaging you in the renewal of democracy,” Moyers wrote on his website.
