Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol said Sunday evening that efforts to recruit a third party challenger to face presumptive nominee Donald Trump have paid off and promised there’s an “impressive” candidate with “a real chance” on deck.
Kristol tweeted:
Just a heads up over this holiday weekend: There will be an independent candidate–an impressive one, with a strong team and a real chance.

But he remained mum on just who that candidate is.
The conservative commentator’s fight against Trump has so far come up short. He said late last month that retired general James Mattis, long viewed as a possible white knight anti-Trump candidate, had ruled out entering the race.
Laissez les bons temps rouler. (Unless they dug up Reagan).
Well, if he (or she) doesn’t do a strip tease on stage after the announcement, I’m not interested!
Well, if they dug up Saint Ronnie, then I’d let the good man roll right off a cliff. Good times.
Good luck with that.
BTW, whatever happened to PNAC?
Haha.
Sarah had a few too many the other night and was unable to help herself…
