Vice President Joe Biden went on offense over Medicare at a Labor Day rally in Detroit Monday, arguing that President Obama was working to save Medicare while Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan want to turn it into a voucher program.
“I’ve sent my whole adult life as a senator and vice president fighting against their attempts to diminish Medicare,” Biden said, stressing that this is a serious issue.
“We’re for Medicare, they’re for ‘vouchercare.'”
