Vice President Joe Biden reportedly asked former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Saturday whether he would be Donald Trump’s running mate, Politico reported.

Both Biden and Gingrich spoke at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado. But when Biden took the stage after the former speaker, he tossed the politician a question.

“Gonna do it?” Biden asked.

Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) are reportedly both at the top of Trump’s list for possible VP candidates.

“Should I? Is it a good job?” Gingrich asked Biden in response.
