Vice President Joe Biden, who previously said he wouldn’t endorse a Democratic presidential candidate, but told ABC News on Tuesday that he is “confident” Hillary Clinton will win both the nomination and the White House.
“I feel confident that Hillary will be the nominee, and I feel confident she’ll be the next president,” Biden said in a clip of an interview scheduled to air Wednesday.
“Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts began the question to Biden by saying, “You bring up the next president—we are all anxious to see who that—”
“Who she is?” Biden interjected.
Biden previously told Mic News that he would “like to see” a woman elected as president. He also previously seemed to suggest that he preferred Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) idealistic style of campaigning to Clinton’s.
Thank you, Joe.
Apparantly, every other legislator in Congress [ D ] hopes you are right!
If they don’t know, now the know, Joe!
What he said.
(If we all work hard enough to make it happen.)
Good on you, Joe!
