Best Buy has launched an investigation into allegations that former CEO Brian Dunn used company resources to carry out an “inappropriate relationship” with a female employee, the Star Tribune reported early Thursday.

“As we have said, the investigation is ongoing. We have no additional comment at this time,” said a Best Buy spokesperson, the Star Tribune reported.

Dunn, a 28-year veteran with Best Buy, resigned from the company after less than three years as CEO on Tuesday, in what Best Buy initially described as an amicable parting and “time for new leadership to address the challenges that face the company.” Best Buy later that day confirmed the resignation came after it launched an investigation into Dunn’s “personal conduct,” not saying at the time what specific alleged conduct the investigation concerned.
