Berkley Barely Beats Heller In First Quarter Fundraising

Nevada Rep. Shelley Berkley’s Senate campaign raised $1.36 million in the first quarter of 2012, slightly more than her opponent, Sen. Dean Heller, who brought in $1.07 million. Berkley’s total comes from 8,167 donors, including 6,628 new donors in the first three months of the year. The Berkley campaign reported $4.41 million cash on hand, also slightly more than Heller’s $4.27 milliion on hand.
