Ben Carson reportedly gave a rambling and confusing answer on Friday night at a campaign stop in Florida about what sorts of counter measures he would employ if, as President, he faced attacks like those earlier in the day in Paris.

From the Daily Beast:

“I would be working with our allies, using every resource known to man: in terms of economic resources, in terms of covert resources… military resources… things-that-they-don’t-know-about resources… not to contain them, but to eliminate them, before they eliminate us,” Carson told reporters at the Sunshine Summit, a gathering of Republican leaders.

Earlier this week, Carson received scrutiny for a meandering answer, which included a claim that the Chinese were in Syria, that he gave on foreign policy during the GOP debate.

  1. This guy has no business being on the national stage for any elected office. He has gone from crazy to an embarrassment and needs to simply go away. How could anyone have “faith” in his leadership on any issue?

  2. Damn…seems like every time I check in with TPM, they have a story about the ‘good doctor’ Dr. Ben Carson, quoting how he would handle various matters, especially of a foreign policy nature and I constantly dumbfounded and amazed with his answers. Let’s hope we have enough sensible people in America that will not give this character the ‘codes’ to our nuclear arsenal.

  3. In other words, he’d wave his magic wand, down some supplements, pray to Jeebus, and – hey presto! – problem solved.

  4. I sincerely believe that fourth grade class President is about all we could ever have expected from this man.

This is hardly news, whatever it is about. [: puke :]
