Republican presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson clarified comments he made about drone use on “State of the Union” Sunday.

Reports stated that Carson had said earlier this week that he was open to the idea of using drone strikes to secure the United States border with Mexico.

But he wouldn’t use those drones to kill people, he said on Sunday.

“There are caves that they utilize. Those caves can be eliminated. There are a number of possibilities,” Carson said on the program. “I’m not talking about killing people.”

  1. Yep, blow up some caves, that will certainly solve the immigration “problem”. Real deep thinkers in the GOP these days.

  2. Lying scumbag alert. That’s exactly what he meant.

  3. caving in an entrance isn’t going to stop the tunnels from being used. Sigh…idiots.

  4. So he thinks these people are lounging around in caves?

    He’s seriously stupid.

  5. “Caves?” Does anyone know what he’s talking about?

And if people are using these caves, and you use drones to blow up the caves, then aren’t you’re going to kill people with the drones?

If there are caves, why not just travel to the caves, check them out, then demolish them?
