Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson said in an interview aired Sunday that he was “absolutely not” changing his campaign — despite recent reports that criticized the validity of some of his previous statements.

ABC “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos repeatedly pressed Carson on last week’s debate over a statement the GOP hopeful had made in his book about a scholarship to West Point.

Stephanopoulos asked Carson if he was going to change the campaign going forward.

“Absolutely not. Our campaign is the thing. We tell the truth, we deal with the issues, and, you know, we don’t — I’m not a politician, so you know, you’re not going to find me acting like a politician,” Carson said. “I don’t do that.”

“I am somebody who is clearly concerned about the direction of our nation and what is going to happen to us if we continue down this pathway,” Carson continued. “And I am very hopeful that people in your business, the media, will slowly recognize the role that they play in helping to restore the American dream.”

Well give this man as oscar. because his is the best performance of a politician by someone claiming not to be a politician ever … he also reminds me of a great film entitled “the Grifters” as well.

Hey, this tactic worked great for Sharron Angle, amirite?

And Carson probably claims (non-politically) that this is a photograph. Seriously, did the “artist” have something against Jesus, or did Carson pay him more to make him the hunk in the picture?

  4. Don’t you know that’s Nick Ashford, not Jesus? You remember him and Valerie Simpson… But I’d agree Carson is not a politician. He’s Max Bialystock redux.
