Ahead of Tuesday night’s Republican presidential debate, Ben Carson’s campaign released a video of his staffers poking fun at reporters’ recent questions about Carson’s past.

In the video titled “Top 10 Things the Liberal Media Thinks are Important 4 Voters to Know,” ten staffers hold up paper signs and jokingly reveal random facts about the candidate, including that Carson was caught passing a note in third grade and once “offended a cupcake by calling it a muffin.”
Over the past week, reporters have questioned Carson’s stories about his violent past, an offer to attend West Point, and a psychology test at Yale University. The retired neurosurgeon complained in an interview with CNN that aired on Sunday that the media criticizes him more than other presidential contenders. He said he is targeted because he’s a threat to “the secular progressive movement.”
